Do you have leadership experience within a warehouse?
Our well established client are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Warehouse Supervisor to join their team. If you have a passion for driving operational excellence, managing teams, and optimising warehouse processes, this is an excellent opportunity for you!
Duties:
- Ensuring that all company procedures, regarding goods movements, labelling and storage are trained and implemented throughout the warehouse.
- Responsible for carrying out stock checks and cycle counts on a regular basis to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular audits, and coordinate internally to ensure optimal stock levels.
- Implement and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance productivity and maintain quality control.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline processes, resolve issues, and improve overall warehouse performance.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
- Maintain accurate documentation and records related to inventory, shipments, and warehouse activities.
- Monitor usage of sundry items and consumables, reporting any shortages.
- Ensure that all allergens are correctly labelled and located.
- Identify areas for process improvement and implement appropriate solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Ensure the cleaning plan is implemented and signed off
- Any other duties required.
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Previous experience in a leadership position within a warehouse
- FLT Licence (inhouse or external) or experience required
- Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team effectively.
- Solid understanding of health and safety regulations and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
- Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to collaborate across departments.
- A drive to lean and develop within the role
Computer literate with the ability to operate different computer software systems.
