My client is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Operative / Counterbalance FLT Driver to join their team on a temporary basis for a warehouse reorganisation project in Redditch.
This role will initially begin as a temporary assignment; however, for the right candidate, there is strong potential for this position to become permanent.
You will be working within a busy warehouse environment, supporting stock movement, organisation, and general housekeeping to ensure the site remains safe, clean, and efficient.
Duties include:
- Operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck safely and efficiently
- Organising stock stored in crates throughout the warehouse
- Relocating and storing materials within designated areas
- Restocking inventory and ensuring correct storage procedures are followed
- Maintaining high standards of warehouse housekeeping
- Ensuring hoses and materials are stored safely and correctly
- Supporting general warehouse operations as required
- Adhering to all health and safety procedures
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Previous warehouse experience
- A valid Counterbalance FLT licence (in-house licences accepted)
- A proactive and positive attitude towards work
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
