We are looking to grow our team our team of specialist education and classroom support staff in the Eastbourne area. If you are looking to work in Primary, Secondary or SEND schools and have experience as a teaching assistant, learning support assistant, pastoral, wellbeing or behaviour specialist please get in touch today!
Pearson Whiffin Education support Kent Primary, Secondary and SEND schools to provide staff on a daily or long-term cover basis. Many of our long-term roles are recruited on a temp-to-perm basis but we can also offer the flexibility of daily cover work to fit in around other commitments. Key Requirements:
- A DBS registered on the Update Service – or willingness to apply for a new DBS.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in any capacity.
- Good references and eligibility to work in the UK.
- Either a car and licence to drive or easy access to public transport.
As Teaching Support you will play a vital role in the wellbeing and education of the students in your care. Offering either 1:1, group or general classroom support you will support students to achieve their best in school.

- Experienced Teaching Assistants (TAs) and Higher Level Teaching Assistants (HLTAs)
- TEFL/TESOL teachers
- Recent graduates considering a career in education
- Sports coaches, drama/dance instructors, and pastoral workers
- Overseas-trained teachers and qualified teachers seeking experience
