Pearson Whiffin Recruitment are recruiting for a Logistics & Kitting Operative on behalf of a growing engineering and manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a varied role and wants to be involved in the wider operation, supporting logistics, stock control, goods-in, despatch and production.
The Role
Working across the logistics function, your responsibilities will include:
- Goods-in and goods-out activities
- Loading and unloading deliveries
- Picking, packing and preparing customer orders
- Stock checks and inventory control
- Producing kits of components for production teams
- Maintaining accurate records and system updates
- Liaising with production and operational teams
What We're Looking For
- Warehouse, logistics or stores experience
- Strong organisational skills
- Good attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift licence advantageous but not essential
- Positive and flexible approach
