Rochester (must have own transport due to limited public transport routes)
£25,700 per year + regular overtime – OPPORTUNITY TO EARN ££££££
40 hours per week – Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Friday 7.30am – 1.30pm

Pearson Whiffin’s Manufacturing, Engineering and Technical team are delighted to be working with an excellent employer within the Medway area in their search for a Production Operative within their Shotblasting team!
This role involves:
- Working in a manufacturing environment as part of a team, but working independently
- Shot blasting manufactured components
- Using hand and power tools
- Following technical instructions to complete tasks accurately, accurately recording your work using touch screen systems and following processes
- Quality checking your work
- Manual handling to move materials around the factory
- Assisting with additional tasks when required
The successful candidate will have:
- Previous experience working in a physical factory-based role within manufacturing
- Experience working within a relevant field – working with metal ideally
- A good level of physical fitness, and be happy to carry out manual handling tasks
- A positive attitude to work with a good track record of reliability
- A good level of attention to detail and a willingness to follow instructions closely
- Flexibility in terms of the hours worked, with a willingness to undertake overtime
The best candidates will have:
- Experience using a shot blaster
- Prepared metal for painting previously
- An interest in the automotive sector
- A driving licence and your own vehicle
