Senior Business Development Manager
Location: Tonbridge
Salary: £55,000 – £65,000 basic plus uncapped commission
We are seeking a confident and strategic Senior Business Development Manager to join a leading provider of perimeter protection and security fencing solutions. In this senior role, you will focus on developing new business opportunities with high-value, high-end clients across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
You will take full ownership of the sales cycle, proactively identifying and engaging premium clients, managing complex negotiations, and delivering tailored perimeter security solutions that meet their unique requirements. You will collaborate closely with internal teams to ensure seamless project delivery, driving revenue growth and reinforcing the company’s reputation for excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage relationships with high-end clients, securing high-value perimeter protection contracts.
- Identify and pursue proactive and reactive leads to generate new business opportunities.
- Conduct in-depth needs analysis to present customized security fencing solutions.
- Lead complex negotiations to close deals and maximize revenue.
- Collaborate with design, engineering, and project teams to ensure client specifications and expectations are met.
- Maintain detailed records of sales activities and pipeline management within the CRM system.
- Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activity, and product innovations to maintain a competitive advantage.
- Consistently meet and exceed ambitious sales targets.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in B2B business development or sales, preferably dealing with high-value clients and complex deals.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, strategic thinker with a results-driven approach.
- Ability to manage a robust sales pipeline independently.
- Proficient with CRM software and sales tools.
- No technical background necessary, but a willingness to understand perimeter security solutions is important.
