Senior Account Manager
A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY to work with the UKs MARKET LEADER in Groundworks products. Trading for over 20 years they have an incredible reputation in the industry for their service. They provide materials and products for all aspects of the groundworks industry and have had a huge amount of success year on year! This has led to an opening for a senior account manager who will thrive in a customer driven, proactive and vibrant working space!
In this Senior Account manager position you will be responsible for:
- To gain and retain detailed product knowledge, pricing structures and construction drawings.
- Driving sales to help hit team targets.
- Be a first point of contact for customers and maintain a high level of customer service.
- Offering specialist technical advice and support.
- Management of Key Clients and coordinating with relevant team members.
- Identifying and being proactive regarding upselling and sales opportunities.
- Proactively assisting with new business opportunities and leads.
- Creating accurate quotations in a timely manner to secure business
The successful Account Manager will have:
- Ideally you will have 3 years of business development/account management experience within the construction industry.
- You will be happy to commit to a 5-day working week in the office. This supports the structure of the operation.
- As an Account Manager you will need to be a strong communicator and ensure that clients’ needs are concise and adhered to throughout the sales process.
- You must be well organised and punctual to maintain a high standard in all areas of this role.
- You will need to retain important client information efficiently.
- Exceptional people skills and positive attitude.

The Package
A basic salary of 40-50k is available for the right Account manager with a commission opportunity and bonus.
