QC Quality Technician

We are currently recruiting for a QC Quality Technician to join a well-established and successful organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a keen eye for detail and a strong interest in product quality, compliance and continuous improvement.
Working closely with the Head of Quality Control & Compliance, you will play an important role in maintaining product standards, coordinating quality inspections and working with factories and international offices to resolve quality issues efficiently.
Duties include:
- Checking and analysing Pre-Shipment Inspection (PSI) reports
- Coordinating the full PSI process and ensuring inspections are booked ahead of shipment dates
- Updating internal systems with PSI results, product weights, dimensions and inspection dates
- Reviewing quality issues and recommending suitable rework solutions
- Creating, monitoring and following up on Corrective Action Plans (CAPs)
- Authorising goods for shipment from a quality control perspective
- Producing and issuing quality reports following identified issues
- Working directly with factories to resolve quality concerns and prevent repeat issues
- Coordinating factory debit notes where required
- Producing and issuing barcode, labelling and carton-marking information
- Liaising with international offices and factories via video calls to discuss and resolve quality issues
- Supporting New Product Introduction (NPI) by reviewing new products and identifying potential quality concerns
- Working with NPI teams to communicate required product changes to factories
- Providing rework instructions and support to warehouse and QC warehouse teams
- Ensuring inspectors have all relevant documentation and information required to complete inspections
- Producing weekly quality reports for the Head of Quality Control & Compliance
- Supporting additional quality projects and ad hoc requirements as required
The right candidate will have/be:
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident reviewing reports and identifying quality issues
- A strong communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers, factories and colleagues internationally
- Able to manage multiple priorities and work to strict deadlines
- Proactive when identifying problems and finding practical solutions
- Comfortable working with internal systems and maintaining accurate records
- Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team
- Previous experience within Quality Control, Quality Assurance, Manufacturing, Product Compliance, Supply Chain or a similar environment would be advantageous.
