Project and Production Coordinator

Pearson Whiffin are thrilled to be partnering with an innovative, industry-leading organisation renowned for its impressive B2B client portfolio - including many household name brands - in the search for a proactive and detail-driven Project and Production Coordinator. This is a unique opportunity for someone with strong inventory management experience and a thorough understanding of Bills of Materials (BOM) to join a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
This varied and hands-on role will include:
- Working collaboratively as part of a close-knit team supporting B2B clients in the Retail sector
- Coordinating accurate, on-time production and delivery in line with customer specifications, ensuring all project components align for successful execution
- Managing comprehensive inventory control, including stock reporting, component tracking, and Bill of Materials (BOM) creation and maintenance
- Managing the ERP system to ensure order accuracy, assembly scheduling, and alignment with customer timelines
- Preparing and managing product launch packs, including technical and compliance documentation
- Supporting estimation and pricing through preparation of production quotes and supplier liaison
- Overseeing international shipments and managing customs documentation in line with global logistics practices
- Preparing invoice batches and associated project documentation
- Delivering proactive communication with internal stakeholders, suppliers, and customers
- Using Excel daily, including formula creation, VLOOKUP, and data manipulation to support inventory and production accuracy
To be considered for this opportunity, you will:
- Have proven experience in inventory management, BOM creation, or production planning
- Be familiar with international exports and the customs processes associated with global shipments
- Ideally have worked with large-scale B2B or retail accounts
- Be highly proficient in Excel (VLOOKUPs, formulas, pivot tables, etc.)
- Demonstrate confidence with numbers, calculations, and error spotting
- Be well-organised, deadline-driven and comfortable managing multiple priorities simultaneously
- Possess strong written and verbal communication skills
- Be a natural team player who can also work independently toward shared objectives
- Be flexible to travel nationally and internationally as required (notice always given)
