Manufacturing Paint Sprayer

I am looking for a hardworking Paint Sprayer with experience working in a manufacturing environment preparing metal to be painted within the automotive sector.
If you have used a shot blaster, have experience in sanding or fettling and have a Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline, this role could be ideal for you!
Key duties for this role include:
- Working in a factory environment, using a range of power tools in a ‘heavy industrial’ environment
- Interpreting specification detail to ensure correct production
- Carrying out a range of metal preparation processes to components before they are painted
- Fettling, sanding, shot-blasting, degreasing, sealing, washing of metal parts
- Ensuring that parts are protected from industrial processes through masking threads and bores meticulously
- Cleaning and maintaining paint spraying equipment
- Accurately measuring and calculating to instruction
- Setting up spraying equipment in the correct manner
- Applying primer and main coats meticulously
- Physical inspection of parts to ensure top quality
- Carrying out any other ad-hoc duties as required.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience spray painting manufactured metal parts, ideally for the automotive industry
- A Level 3 qualification in a relevant discipline
- The ability to use power tools
- Good hand eye coordination.
- A good level of physical fitness – this is a physically demanding role requiring heavy lifting and standing for long periods of time
- A reliable attitude to work demonstrated by a solid CV
- The ability to work on site in Marden 5 days per week
