Monday-Friday, 5.30am-2pm / 1.30pm-10pm
Are you a Maintenance Engineer with an Electrical bias, minimum Level 3 Electrical qualification and experience working in a manufacturing or production environment?
Are you fed up working 4 on 4 off?!
Our well-established client is looking to recruit an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their manufacturing facility in Borough Green.
This is an exceptional opportunity for a suitably experienced, self-motivated, and analytical Engineer to utilise maintenance and repair skills within a varied and challenging, professional production environment.
Duties Include:
- Performing the effective and timely diagnosis, maintenance, and repair on a range of manufacturing machinery
- Responsible for the dismantling, checking, and testing of components.
- Attend breakdowns and keep machinery down-time to a minimum.
- Maintaining tools and equipment to a safe working condition.
- Providing support with general facilities management when required.
- Spotting opportunities to improve processes and communicating this to management.
- Working as part of a team.
The right candidate for this Maintenance Engineer role will have / be:
- A time served Electrical Maintenance Engineer, qualified to Level 3 C&G or equivalent.
- Experience working as a Maintenance Engineer within Manufacturing or Production
- Basic knowledge of PLC controls.
- 18th Edition - Essential
- Experience working with automation machinery.
- PPM, breakdown, installation, and reactive maintenance experience.
- A great, team orientated attitude.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, able to provide technical support internally to production teams, explaining technical information clearly.
- Able to write reports clearly – good written and verbal English.
- Computer literate
