We’re recruiting on behalf of a well-established and highly regarded finance professional who is seeking dedicated support in managing daily operations of their small business with a view to growth.
This is a rare opportunity to work 1:1 for an expert in the mortgage world, who believes in relationships built on mutual trust and respect and is a loyal and supportive leader with a great sense of humour!
Day to day duties will include:
- Managing client documentation, applications, and compliance processes
- Liaising with lenders, solicitors, and clients to ensure smooth transactions
- Diary management, appointment scheduling, and general administrative support
- Maintaining accurate records
- Proactively supporting with mortgage case progression
- Working collaboratively to improve processes
- Supporting with projects to develop the business – ad-hoc duties as required
The successful candidate will have:
- Recent, significant experience in mortgage administration and case progression with good knowledge of the residential mortgage process
- Been educated to a good standard, with an interest in learning
- Experience dealing with a range of lenders with up-to-date knowledge of regulations
- AML and KYC knowledge and experience
- A meticulous attention to detail
- First class organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a focus on proactive service delivery and relationship building
- A self-motivated and driven approach with a proven track record of working alone and / or remotely
- Great IT skills with the ability to use Excel to at least an intermediate level and pick up new systems quickly
- A flexible, adaptable approach
- A good academic record
- Worked for previous employers solidly
- Evidence of your focus on personal and professional development
- Knowledge of the property market in the Southeast
