Pearson Whiffin Recruitment is working in partnership with a respected UK engineering manufacturer that designs, installs and services bespoke air handling and building services equipment for commercial and industrial clients nationwide.
This is a hands-on, site-based role focused primarily on mechanical installation and assembly. You will be working on large-scale air handling and ventilation systems, travelling nationwide as part of a growing field engineering team.
The Role
- Install, assemble and refurbish air handling and ventilation systems on commercial sites
- Carry out mechanical fitting, maintenance and fault-finding on pumps, motors and ductwork
- Support site-based installation and commissioning activities
- Work collaboratively with electrical engineers and other field engineers
- Travel across the UK with regular overnight stays (overnight allowance paid)
- Complete job documentation, service reports and installation records
Overtime & Travel
- Weekdays: x1.33
- Saturdays: x1.5
- Sundays: x1.75
Paid door-to-door travel plus a £45 overnight allowance paid weekly. This role offers strong earning potential for engineers who enjoy nationwide installation work.
What You’ll Need
- Proven experience in mechanical installation, assembly or service work
- Background within HVAC, air handling units or building services
- Valid CSCS card
- Full UK driving licence
- Strong hands-on mechanical skills using tools and equipment
- Flexibility to travel nationwide, stay overnight and work overtime as required
