A well-established and rapidly growing water pump and mechanical services provider is seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join its field engineering team.
This is a mobile, customer-facing role working on above-ground pump systems, delivering essential services to commercial sites across Kent and the Southeast.
What You’ll Be Doing
No two days are the same. You’ll be:
- Installing, servicing and maintaining booster and circulator pump systems
- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical faults
- Working with pump control panels and associated equipment
- Carrying out planned maintenance and emergency breakdowns
- Representing the business professionally on customer sites
- Participating in an on-call rota with enhanced earnings
What We’re Looking For
You’ll thrive in this role if you have:
- Experience with pump systems (booster, circulator, or similar)
- Strong mechanical knowledge with basic electrical competence
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset
- The ability to work independently in the field
- Flexibility to travel regionally and respond to call-outs
- A full UK driving licence
Training will be provided where needed — attitude and capability matter just as much as experience.
