Machine Operator

4 on 4 off (6am-6pm)
My client, a successful and established organisation, are looking for an enthusiastic and reliable Machine Operator to join their thriving team on a permanent basis, with both days and night shifts available meaning you effectively only work 36.25 hours a week!
The ideal candidate will be hardworking and fully computer literate, with a high level of attention to detail, previous experience working on machines, and the ability to prioritise a busy workload!
Duties include:
- Prepare machines and set them to production recipes.
- Prepare all raw materials so they’re ready for production.
- Stacking all finished products, and any other manual handling required.
- Resolve any stoppages with machines.
- Adhere to all health and safety guidelines at all times.
- Any other duties required.
The right candidate will have / be:
- Experience of plant and machine operations.
- Experience working within the food manufacturing industry.
- A strong team player.
- Computer literate.
- Helpful, reliable, and confident.
- Quick and methodical.
- Health and safety awareness.
- Flexible and proactive.
