Level 1/2 Support Engineer - Kent - £32,000 + Excellent benefits + career development
Overview:
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a growing Managed Service Provider in Kent for a Level 1/2 Support Engineer. You will be responsible for 1st/2nd line technical support and will be required to visit client premises to provide on-site support when required.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Provide desk-side and remote based end-user support to troubleshoot issues and problems with equipment and/or systems.
- Setting up accounts for new users.
- Repairing and replacing equipment as necessary.
- Administering Microsoft 365.
- Undertaking ad-hoc projects as instructed by the IT Manager and Management Team.
- Installing and configuring computer hardware, software, systems, networks, printers, and scanners.
- Maintaining and updating technical documentation regularly
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Detailed knowledge of Microsoft Windows Desktop and Server
- Experience of supporting Microsoft 365
- Networking knowledge and experience
- Full clean UK driving licence (for manual vehicle)
- Candidate must pass DBS check
Desirable:
- Microsoft Professional Certification
- Experience of deploying and managing Azure solutions
- WatchGuard certification and experience
- Experience of ConnectWise
- Experience supporting Apple Macs
- Create and manage scripts using PowerShell and Automate RMM tool
- Management of hosted services for Web, Email and SQL databases
Package:
- £27,000-£32,000 per annum
- 22 days per year holiday (plus bank holidays)
