My client is a leading legal firm within their niche field.
This company, who cultivate a 'family feel' are expanding due to success and require an intelligent, career minded PA to join the team on a permanent basis supporting an experienced, established professional by providing comprehensive administrative support.
This will be a fast-paced role where attention to detail and a proactive approach are critical. No two days will be the same, and you will have the opportunity to develop your experience within a niche, complex area of law and develop your career as a Legal Secretary.
Duties will include:
- Providing comprehensive administrative support to a specialist attorney
- Document, data and record management
- All round typing and administrative tasks
- Preparation of invoices
- Dealing with client requirements, taking instruction over the telephone where authorised
- Diary and email management
- Ad-hoc duties as required
To be in the running, you will have:
- Some solid experience as a Legal PA/Secretary in the City
- A good level of education, to at least A Level standard
- An excellent grasp of the English language, both written and verbal
- A meticulous attention to detail
- Advanced IT skills including proficiency using MS Office
- The ability to prioritise a busy workload
- A calm and professional outlook
To be a stand-out candidate, you will also have
- An ILEX qualification
- A Law degree
- Some knowledge/experience in Trademark Law
