We’re seeking a motivated Laboratory Technician to join a global organisation renowned for its innovation and quality in the production of specialist materials.
Working as part of a small, dedicated technical team, you’ll play a key role in preparing and testing formulations, colour matching, and producing small-scale samples used to support customer projects worldwide.
What you’ll be doing:
- Producing and testing a range of formulations and coating samples in line with customer and project requirements
- Conducting colour matching and quality checks to exact specifications
- Maintaining strong standards of GMP, GLP and Health & Safety across all laboratory activities
- Supporting continuous improvement projects within the lab
- Assisting in updating risk assessments, SOPs and quality documentation
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across technical and production teams
What we’re looking for:
- Ideally a degree in Chemistry or a related scientific discipline (or equivalent experience)
- A Levels or equivalent as a minimum
- Some industrial lab experience – from pharmaceuticals, coatings, or other manufacturing environments
- Strong practical lab skills with good attention to detail and record keeping
- A proactive, curious mindset with a real interest in product formulation and development
- The ability to work accurately in a busy, team-focused setting
