Key Account Manager
Salary: £45,000-£55,000 + comms
We are seeking a dedicated and customer-focused Key Account Manager to join a leading provider of perimeter protection and security fencing solutions. This role centers on nurturing, managing, and expanding relationships with existing key accounts across commercial, industrial, and residential sectors.
As the Key Account Manager, you will be the trusted point of contact for your assigned clients, ensuring their ongoing satisfaction by understanding their evolving needs and delivering tailored security solutions. You will work closely with internal teams to coordinate service delivery and identify opportunities to grow revenue within your accounts.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage and develop long-term relationships with a portfolio of key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.

Act as the main liaison between clients and internal teams, coordinating project delivery and resolving any issues promptly.

Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling additional perimeter protection products and services.

Understand client business goals and challenges to proactively offer solutions that add value.

Maintain accurate records of account activities, customer communications, and sales forecasts in the CRM system.

Stay informed about industry trends, competitor activity, and product developments relevant to your accounts.

Collaborate with sales and technical teams to tailor solutions that meet client specifications and expectations.
Requirements:

Proven experience in key account management or customer relationship management, preferably in security, construction, or a related sector.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to build strong client relationships.

Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to managing client needs.

Ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts and effectively negotiate to close deals.

Proficiency in CRM software and sales tools for pipeline and account management.

Self-motivated and organized with the ability to manage multiple accounts simultaneously.
