IT Systems Manager - Kent - Fixed Term Contract - Excellent salary + benefits
Overview
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a manufacturing business in Kent for a IT Systems Manager. You will be responsible for a portfolio of IT systems and Solutions which are organised around key business life cycles within the organisation.
Role & Responsibilities
- Be the systems expert for Microsoft, Dynamics & CRM.
- Plan, implement, and maintain related activities; coordinating & responding to technology needs at all levels.
- Take a proactive role in initiatives to support application and adoption of technology.
- Incorporate best practices for accessibility, efficiency & productivity gains through technology.
- Support change and release management for systems & solutions, ensuring that changes are implemented with minimum risk to the business.
- Manage relationships to ensure systems & solutions are optimal to deliver value to the business.
- Monitor and report on performance indicators for systems & solutions to minimise disruption and costs.
- Identify and deliver service improvements which may impact on teams, customers and/or suppliers.
- Establish and manage a programme for continuous learning & training for all business-IT.
- Provide 2nd Line IT support, taking ownership of issues and identifying appropriate solutions to bring resolve.
- Maintain a high service standard, meeting expectations, SLAs & KPIs of the role.
- Build trust through development of strong working relationships with team members, stakeholders and end-users across the organisation.
Essential Skills & Experience
- At least three years' experience of IT Service & Support in a complex environment
- Working knowledge and practical experience of multiple technologies, including Microsoft, Dynamics & CRM, agile methods and tools
- Microsoft tech stack
- Excellent Administrative skills with expert use of Microsoft Office (mainly Outlook, Word and Excel)
