Infrastructure Engineer – 2nd/3rd line support
We are looking for someone with strong technical experience covering Windows 10/11, Windows Server, AD, DNS, and Group Policy as well as networking and ideally storage experience to provide onsite 2nd and 3rd line support across the business.
This is a 6 - 12 month fixed term contract to join an internal team tasked with providing support services across the business to users and senior management in the resolution of issues raised on the service desk.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience of support and troubleshooting Windows 10/11, ideally including migration to Windows 11.
- Experience installing, support, manage and troubleshooting Windows Server including DNS, DHCP, Group Policy etc
- Experience of networking, Cisco, Firewalls, Voip as well as SAN support and troubleshooting is highly desirable.
- Experience across SQL Server, installation, configuration and maintenance.
- Understanding of backup and recovery processes, transfer protocols.
