Helpdesk Administrator

My client is looking for a helpdesk administrator to coordinate customer administrative support within the helpdesk function, ensuring high levels of service4 delivery and effective route planning for field engineers. The role is critical to maintain communication between internal teams and external clients while adhering to service level agreements.
Duties include:
- Act as the first point of contact for incoming customer enquiries via phone and email. Accurately record all service requests and job details into the internal IT system.
- Coordinate and schedule engineer visits based on service level agreements (SLAs), ensuring optimal route planning and efficient resource allocation.
- Provide day-to-day support to field engineers and the dispatch team, including assistance with parts delivery coordination and workflow prioritisation.
- Confirm completion of service visits with engineers and ensure all job-related information is communicated back to customers in a timely and professional manner.

- Assertiveness – Confidently handles customer interactions and internal communications
- Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written skills for dealing with a range of stakeholders
