Key Responsibilities:

Manage and grow your own portfolio of freight customers

Deliver a tailored and personable service to build long-term client relationships

Provide, follow up on, and convert quotes across road, sea, and air freight lanes

Identify and develop new business opportunities

Work closely with suppliers to ensure smooth job execution and clear profit margins

Manage jobs from start to finish, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business
What we’re looking for:
-
Proven experience in road, sea, or air freight forwarding
-
Previous account management and business development experience within the freight industry
-
Strong understanding of transport and worldwide logistics
-
Excellent communication and customer service skills
-
Ability to quickly build rapport and trust with customers both over the phone and face-to-face
-
Highly organised with strong attention to detail
-
Able to work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines

Proficient in Microsoft Excel and comfortable using IT systems
