CAD Draftsperson – Motorsport Projects
Location: Biggin Hill (Hybrid, up to 2 days remote per week)
Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 pro rata (DOE)
Contract: 6 months initially, with potential extension subject to business need and candidate performance

The Role
Working as a CAD Draftsperson, you’ll play a key part in consolidating and standardising circuit infrastructure drawings that form the backbone of international racing events. This role is critical to ensuring consistency and accuracy ahead of the 2026 racing season.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Reviewing, revising, and standardising CAD drawings to set specifications.
- Collaborating with engineers and surveyors to interpret and deliver design requirements.
- Compiling and integrating drawings into a cohesive, consistent framework.
- Identifying discrepancies and contributing solutions through feedback loops.
- Maintaining clear documentation of CAD files and revisions.
- Supporting improvements in design processes and workflows.
About You
- Strong AutoCAD experience (2007–present; AutoCAD 2025 desirable).
- Detail-oriented, with accuracy in drafting technical drawings.
- Suitable for a graduate or second jobber with solid CAD knowledge and some understanding of engineering principles.
- Organised, proactive, and collaborative in approach.
- Nice to have: Trimble or Leica Infinity, 3D CAD drafting, or civil/topographical design exposure.
- A genuine interest in motorsport would be an advantage.
Key Details
- Working hours: 9am–5pm with a 1-hour break.
- Hybrid model: Primarily office-based in Biggin Hill with up to 2 days remote per week.
- Contract: 6 months initially, with possible extension or progression subject to performance and business need.
- Salary: £40,000 – £50,000 pro rata.
