Do you enjoy diagnosing faults and bringing equipment back to life?
We're recruiting for a technically minded Repair Technician to join a growing engineering business that designs and manufactures specialist equipment used across multiple sectors.
This position would suit someone with repair, service, maintenance, electronics, automotive, engineering or manufacturing experience who enjoys problem solving and getting to the root cause of technical issues.
The Role
You'll be responsible for investigating faults, repairing equipment and ensuring products are returned to customers operating safely and efficiently.
Key responsibilities include:
- Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults
- Repairing and refurbishing products and equipment
- Replacing defective components
- Conducting testing and quality inspections
- Recording repairs and findings accurately
- Supporting continuous improvement by identifying recurring faults
What We're Looking For
- Previous repair, maintenance or manufacturing experience
- Strong fault-finding ability
- Experience using hand tools and testing equipment
- Ability to read technical information and drawings
- Good computer literacy
- Methodical and detail-focused approach
