Are you experienced in assembling electrical or mechanical products? Do you enjoy working from drawings, wiring components and creating high-quality finished products?
Our client is an established and growing engineering manufacturer looking to strengthen its assembly team with an additional Electromechanical Assembly Technician.
This role would suit someone from an assembly, maintenance, electrical installation, automotive, lift engineering, manufacturing or similar technical background.
The Role
You'll be involved in the assembly and wiring of specialist equipment, working from engineering drawings and technical documentation.
Duties will include:
- Installing electrical and mechanical components
- Wiring and cable routing
- Crimping, terminating and soldering connections
- Reading engineering drawings and schematics
- Building products to quality and safety standards
- Supporting testing and fault-finding activities
About You
- Experience within assembly, electrical installation or manufacturing
- Ability to interpret technical drawings
- Experience using hand tools and electrical assembly equipment
- Good attention to detail
- Positive, team-focused attitude
- Strong desire to learn and develop
