Customer Service Administrator – Housing
4 Month FTC
Mid Kent - Office based
Monday – Friday, 8.30 – 5.00pm
Salary up to 34k DOE
I’m currently recruiting for a well-organised and dependable Customer Service Administrator to join a leading housing developer based in Mid Kent.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy Customer Service team on a 4-month fixed-term contract, supporting customers throughout their aftercare journey.
Ideally, you will have previous experience within the housing, property or a similar industry, along with excellent communication and organisational skills. The role will involve liaising directly with customers, handling queries, resolving issues and ensuring a high level of customer service is maintained throughout.
Duties include:
- Act as a key point of contact for customers, responding to enquiries by telephone and email in a professional, helpful and timely manner.
- Manage and monitor the Customer Service inbox, ensuring all enquiries are dealt with within agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
- Carry out post-completion follow-up calls to customers, identifying any outstanding matters and ensuring they continue to receive appropriate support.
- Liaise with homeowners, contractors and internal teams to coordinate access arrangements and facilitate the timely resolution of defects.
- Record, monitor and manage customer-reported defects through the defect management system, maintaining accurate records and clear, factual timelines.
- Identify and escalate complex, significant or sensitive customer issues to the Customer Service Manager for review and appropriate action.
To be considered for this role you must have/be:
- Previous experience within the housing, property or residential development sector is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with customers, colleagues and external contractors.
- Strong IT skills, with confidence using Microsoft Office and customer management systems.
- A highly organised and methodical approach, with strong attention to detail.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines.
- A professional, approachable and customer-focused manner.
