Customer Service Administrator

Monday-Friday
Office based – Full Time
08.00-17.00
Are you an organised and people-focused professional looking for your next step in customer service? Our client is seeking a confident Customer Services Administrator to support the smooth running of their busy customer operations team.
In this role, you’ll help coordinate daily activity, support team performance and ensure customers receive an exceptional service experience.
Duties include:
- Supporting the daily coordination of the customer service team, making sure tasks are allocated effectively and service levels remain consistently high.
- Working closely with the CS Manager to coach and guide team members, helping to boost performance and maintain high standards.
- Act as a first point of contact for more complex customer queries or complaints, ensuring issues are handled professionally and resolved promptly.
- Monitoring team performance against internal targets, ensuring processes, policies, and systems are being followed correctly.
- Identify ways to streamline workflows, enhance efficiency and improve the overall customer experience.
- Assisting with the rollout of new initiatives, updated procedures and system improvements.
- Collaborate with wider teams to ensure customer issues are thoroughly investigated and resolved.
The right candidate will have/be:
- Experience within customer service – in person and over the phone
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive, questioning mindset.
- Confident using computers and able to pick up new systems quickly.
- Adaptable and willing to step in to support the team as situations arise.
- Able to multitask and stay organised in a fast-moving environment.
- Comfortable taking responsibility for key tasks or project deliverables.
- Previous project or project-support experience would be an advantage.
- Positive and adaptable attitude.
- Confident knowledge of UK locations and key travel routes.
