An exciting opportunity has opened for a Credit Controller at a very well-established company based near Hastings. This position will report directly to the Finance Controller and is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience in a similar position looking for the next step in their career.
Duties Include but are not limited to:
- Maintaining the Sales Ledger including:
- Invoice processing
- Cash allocation
- Debt Recovery
- Ensure debtor days are kept to a minimum
- Ensuring KPI’s and targets are met on a regular basis
- Statement, Bank and Cash Reconciliations
- Liaise with customers, clients and other departments to ensure queries are resolved
- Assist with rebates, discounts and customer reports
- Other Ad-Hoc duties associated with the position
The ideal candidate will:
- Have proven experience in a similar position
- Have a basic understanding of VAT legislation
- Have a good understanding of General Accounting Principles
- Have meticulous attention to detail and excellent communication skills
- Have a proactive can-do attitude and not be afraid to get stuck in and take on any task
