Pearson Whiffin Recruitment are proud to be supporting a highly regarded law firm in their search for a talented Conveyancing Legal Secretary to join their established team based in Gravesend.
This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a professional, friendly and supportive environment, where you’ll play a key role in providing essential support to the busy Conveyancing department.
Day to day, you’ll be:
- Preparing and formatting legal documents, correspondence and contracts
- Managing diaries, scheduling appointments and coordinating meetings
- Handling incoming calls, emails and post on behalf of fee earners
- Carrying out searches, Land Registry applications and SDLT forms
- Maintaining accurate filing systems, both paper and electronic
- Liaising with clients, solicitors, lenders and other third parties professionally and efficiently
The ideal candidate will have:
- Previous experience working as a Legal Secretary, ideally within conveyancing
- Strong typing and IT skills, with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to manage a busy workload and work to deadlines
- A confident, professional manner with excellent communication skills
- A proactive, “can do” approach and team player attitude
