Are you numerically sharp with an eye for design?
Do you love data, detail and finding clever ways to make costs work?
We’re working with a creative manufacturing business just outside Maidstone who specialise in innovative packaging and display solutions for a range of desirable customers.
They’re looking for a bright and commercially minded Estimator to join their friendly, collaborative team.
This is a brilliant opportunity for either:
- A graduate with a background in Product Design who enjoys the commercial and analytical side of things, or
- Someone with estimating experience within packaging, print or manufacturing who’s confident with numbers, materials and processes.
The Role
- Use advanced Excel tools to calculate accurate costings and quantity break pricing
- Analyse enquiries to select the most efficient manufacturing processes
- Manipulate materials and specifications to achieve best value and quality
- Prepare clear, competitive quotations to meet client needs and deadlines
- Support concept design using CAD (training can be provided)
- Collaborate closely with design, production and sales teams to ensure every project runs smoothly from idea to delivery
About You
- Highly numerate, analytical and detail-driven
- Excellent Excel ability – comfortable with formulas, pivot tables and data analysis
- Confident handling measurements and everyday maths
- Naturally inquisitive with a practical, problem-solving mindset
- Able to think in 3D and visualise how designs translate into finished products
- Commercially aware with the ability to balance creativity and cost
- A degree in Product Design or related technical field would be an advantage
- Packaging or print experience highly desirable
