The Opportunity
You’ll join a busy estimating team where you’ll learn how to price projects, analyse costs and support key commercial decisions.
This role is ideal for someone at the start of their career who wants to develop valuable, in-demand skills and progress quickly.
What You’ll Be Doing
· Assisting with the preparation of detailed cost estimates
· Reviewing project requirements, drawings and specifications
· Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain pricing
· Supporting cost analysis and bid submissions
· Building strong working relationships internally and externally
· Managing multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
With experience, you’ll gain exposure to wider commercial activities, opening up progression into Quantity Surveying
What We’re Looking For
· A-Level educated or graduate (ideally in a numerical, construction or engineering-related subject)
· Strong numeracy and attention to detail
· Confident communicator with a proactive, can-do attitude
· Highly organised with the ability to multitask
· Genuine interest in construction, projects or commercial roles
· Full UK driving licence
No prior estimating experience required — attitude and potential are key.
