The Role
As their Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in driving new business growth across the UK. This is a full-cycle sales role focused on identifying new opportunities, developing relationships with key decision-makers, and closing high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, target, and convert new business opportunities in key commercial and industrial sectors.
- Present and demonstrate smart IoT monitoring solutions to prospects, showcasing clear ROI and business benefits.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline using a consultative, value-led approach.
- Collaborate with internal technical and product teams to ensure solutions meet client needs.
- Accurately forecast sales performance and meet/exceed KPIs.
What We're Looking For
- Proven B2B sales success in IoT, smart technology, SaaS, or a closely related field.
- A strong understanding of technology-led solutions and a consultative sales style.
- Self-motivated, target-driven, and comfortable working autonomously.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Must be based within 1 hour of Manchester and willing to travel for client meetings.
