Business Development Manager - High Performance Technology

The Role
As Business Development Manager, you will play a critical role in developing sales across the Northeast UK region. You’ll be responsible for managing new and existing client relationships, identifying opportunities, and delivering complete project solutions from enquiry through to installation.
Key Responsibilities
- Grow and manage business within the Northeast sales region
- Engage directly with end-users, while also working with contractors and occasionally architects/specifiers.
- Deliver end-to-end project management, ensuring a seamless customer experience.
- Drive key account development and long-term relationship management.
- Collaborate effectively with a small, dedicated UK-based team.
- Promote their advanced technology and product benefits to a diverse client base.
Your Profile
- Proven experience in business development and technical sales
- Solid understanding of engineering principles and/or electrical control systems.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a natural relationship builder.
- Track record of key account management and growing client portfolios.
- Self-motivated, hands-on, and results-oriented – a traditional "do-er".
- Able to integrate quickly and contribute meaningfully within a focused team environment.
- Proficient in IT systems; experience with SAP is a plus.
What They Offer
- £45,000 base (negotiable) - £60,000 OTE
