Role: Business Development Coordinator
Department & Location: Customer Services – Birmingham

Position Summary
We are looking for a motivated, research-savvy professional to help identify and pursue new business leads. The main focus will be outbound calling to potential clients to arrange sales appointments. You’ll support their Business Development Team by generating leads and setting up meetings, playing a key role in helping them grow. The role is target-driven and includes clear KPIs and performance-based bonuses.
Key Responsibilities
Business Growth Activities:
- Outbound Calling: Make proactive cold calls daily to build a strong pipeline of business leads.
- Scheduling Meetings: Arrange appointments for the Business Development Managers with well-qualified prospects following UK Sales standards.
- Service Expertise: Develop a thorough understanding of their offerings to effectively introduce our services and identify growth opportunities.
- Quotation Support: Assist in preparing and issuing sales quotes, ensuring every quote is properly logged, tracked, and followed up.
- Lead Management: Build and maintain a prospect database, use it for campaigns, and keep CRM records up to date and well-organised.
- CRM System Use: Ensure all activities, contacts, and outcomes are recorded accurately and kept current in the CRM platform.
What We’re Looking For:
- Demonstrated experience in cold calling and lead generation
- Excellent organisational skills and time management
- Determined, resilient, and results-focused approach
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office tools and PowerPoint
- Familiarity with CRM platforms
- A collaborative team player who stays informed on evolving services and customer needs
Package
Salary: £30,000 – £40,000 (dependent on experience)
