Automotive Warranty Inspector
Salary: £30,000 + bens + progression
Location: Tonbridge
Hours: Full time, Monday–Friday

Are you hands-on with vehicles and naturally curious about how automotive parts work? This is a great opportunity to step into a technical, office-based role where your practical knowledge really counts.
An established and well-regarded automotive business is looking to add a Claims Inspector to their aftersales team. You’ll play a key role in reviewing warranty claims, assessing technical issues, and working closely with customers to resolve queries fairly and efficiently.
What you’ll be doing:
- Reviewing and assessing warranty claims with a technical eye
- Investigating component failures and identifying root causes
- Producing clear, professional technical reports to support decisions
- Managing claims through to completion within agreed timescales
- Liaising with customers and internal teams to explain outcomes clearly
What we’re looking for:
- Practical experience working with vehicles or automotive components
- A recognised qualification in vehicle maintenance or a similar discipline
- Strong technical understanding and attention to detail
- Confident written skills – able to explain technical findings clearly
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- A genuine interest in the automotive industry
