Assistant Warehouse Manager

My client is looking for a Warehouse Supervisor / Assistant Warehouse Manager to join their growing organisation! The ideal candidate will have strong experience within warehouse management, ideally along with warehouse/production planning and inventory management. You must be a strong leader in order to keep the team in order at all times.
Duties include:
- Being hands-on around the shop floor and leading by example
- Spreading your time out between 2 sites located 10 minutes apart
- Supporting the warehouse manager
- Planning production for new orders
- Inventory management through WMS
- Ensuring all health and safety procedures are being followed
- Organising overtime when necessary
- Any other duties required
The successful candidate will have / be:
- Solid experience as a Warehouse/Production manager/supervisor
- Able to plan for new incoming orders
- Strong people management skills
- A forklift licence – not essential but highly advantageous
- Happy to be hands-on and lead from the front
- A strong communicator
