An exciting opportunity has opened for an Accounts Payable Assistant reporting to the Accounts Payable Team Leader at a very well-established business based in Wednesbury.
This is a very hands-on role that requires the successful candidate to hit the ground running and not be afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. Naturally, this means experience in a similar position is essential. This would suit an experienced Accounts Assistant/Purchase Ledger Clerk or Accounts Payable Assistant looking for their next role in the industry.
Duties will include:
- Processing and coding invoices
- Matching supplier invoices to Purchase Orders
- Resolving supplier queries
- Reviewing statements
- Verifying invoices and credit notes
- Employee expenses (monthly)
- Payment runs and assisting with Month End duties
- Other Ad-Hoc tasks relating to the position
The successful candidate will:
- Have proven experience in a similar role
- Have meticulous attention to detail, work well independently as well as part of a team
- Have excellent communication skills and be a fast learner with a proactive attitude
